# PayoutTransferInput

> The transfer leg of a payout (shared by every payout type).

**Input object**

The transfer leg of a payout (shared by every payout type). Moves the funds from the operator to
the destination user named by destination.externalReferenceId.

## Input fields

**amount** `Float!` *required*

The amount to transfer (must be positive). The payout destination reuses this amount.

**destination** `PayoutTransferDestination!` *required*

Required destination detail. Names the receiving user (externalReferenceId) and optionally the
target cash balance on their account.

**memo** `String`

Optional memo to attach to this transfer transaction.

**transactionCategory** `String`

Optional category name to attach to this transfer transaction.

**attachmentId** `String`

ID of a previously uploaded attachment (PDF or PNG).
