# Overview

**Account to external transfers** move money out of Fluz to a US bank account that belongs to someone else, such as a contractor, a vendor, or a friend. The recipient does not need a Fluz account, and the money is sent over standard ACH.

Every transfer is a two-step flow: first save the recipient's bank account as a payee, then send the payout.

All operations require the `MAKE_PAYOUT_TRANSFER_SEND` scope.
